I discovered Texas Traditions at a local store in Houston, when
I purchased our first bottle of Texas Hot Salt™. My husband and
I were both wowed. It turns summer's fresh, ripe tomatoes into
Texas tomatoes. Not too hot, just seasoned perfectly. We use it
on popcorn, on eggs (try with deviled eggs too!), and in the flour
mix for frying. It makes BBQ meats and fish wonderful, and spices
up Mexican dishes perfectly. We ordered it by the case. Of course,
the Hot Salt led to ordering other Texas Traditions products, of
which our favorites are the Mesquite Mustard and the pepper jellies.
The pepper jellies are especially good for glazing grilled meats,
or mixing with cream cheese for a great spread for wraps. There
is no limit to the uses of these wonderful products!
